Unicopia full-game alpha released!
I'm pleased to announce the release of Unicopia's final alpha (v0.2.5), the last release before I start cranking out the beta.
And as a special thank you to itch.io supporters, and for a limited time only, v0.2.5 is being published with full access to all of the games 40 levels.
While I still need to add cut-scenes, add various meta-game and online features, and do a lot more difficulty balancing, this alpha gives you a chance to see the full game in its raw state. I'm also looking for any more feedback, and will be invite the keenest commenters to join the Discord when the closed beta testing starts.

The complete list of changes in v0.2.5 includes:
- [Difficulty] Level 3-10 removed some spikes; and reduced octopus bubbles.
- [Difficulty] Level 3-7 lowered and shortened wolf's starting platform.
- [Difficulty] Level 3-6 removed a few upper spikes; added trapped platforms in mid-section.
- [Difficulty] Level 3-4 adjusted lower octopus positioning, and removed spikes of impossibility.
- [Difficulty] Level 3-3 added trapped platforms to ease exit box.
- [Difficulty] Level 3-1 moved mid gem closer to platform.
- [Difficulty] Level 2-7 increased normal time to 25s.
- [Feel] Updated jump physics (eeks!) to increase coyote time and allow gravity during coyote time
- [Feel] Updated jump physics (more eeks!) to reduce horizontal control when falling
[Feel] Updated jump physics (yet more eeks!) to add edge tolerance when hitting head near platform end - [Content] Changed boss death SFX.
- [Content] Added Evie boss.
- [Content] Added level 3-11, 3-12, 3-13, and 3-14.
- [Style] Remove Evie's rage delay from delaying target update.
- [Style] Swapped crumble and trapdoor mechanics.
- [Style] Flipped ghosts to use fast "shake with rage" before chasing bosses.
- [Style] Halved frame rate for Cornelia's rainbow trail, doubling its length.
- [Bug] Zero Evie's velocity on reset to remove cerberus effect.
- [Bug] Stopped trapped platform from triggering unless player lands on it.
- [Bug] Stop Cornelia's landing particles from showing continually.
- [Bug] Ensure key particle trail shows.
- [Bug] Stopped quick pressing after game over from messing restart transition timings.
- [Bug] Stopped key pickup SFX from replaying.
- [Bug] Blended tile edges for realm 2 background leaves.
- [Change] Upgraded from Godot 4.1.1 to Godot 4.2.1.
- [Change] Updated to latest yafsm.
